Some things I’ve learned already this year:
1. its a shame parchment paper doesn’t come pre-cut to fit inside cake pans.
2. when the recipe says to force curd through a fine sieve,
you will taste a difference if you ignore the instructions.
3. gluten free cakes: probably impossible. i’m working on it, i am.
but seriously. probably not going get much traction, you know, in the taste department.
4. i should just leave some butter out on the counter. basically all the time. odds are: i’ll use it.
